These little journals are perfect for taking notes, sketching out musical ideas, tucking into a music binder, and taking along with you when you want to write a song or capture a musical idea. 
 
Choose from the iconic Deceptive Cadence logo, or Penn Cove Jazz. Penn Cove is where I've started to hold jazz music workshops, the journals were originally designed for workshop participants. And, Deceptive Cadence is a reference to both a deceptive cadence in music, and the Deception Pass Bridge that is at the north end of Whidbey Island Washington. It's the most visited state park in Washington State. 
 
I'm using them as assignment books for my students, and as note books for when I'm composing and writing out tunes.
