Take a birthday trip around the circle.

In the endless development of motor skills, another trip around the Circle of 5ths is in order.


It's been over a year since this experiment started, and it shows no signs of slowing down.


The next iteration is the Birthday Club. To be a member, you need to have a birthday, or you need to know someone who has a birthday. It's that simple.


Birthday club members learn how to play Happy Birthday in all keys. Then they play it for someone. On their birthday, of course. Watch the video to get some ideas on what I do with this.




We may have a tally of how many times students play this for friends and family, and when we get up to 100 have a party with birthday cake. What about a Birthday Song Marathon. . .


It will be interesting to see where this goes.
